Lisa A. Rose brings extensive experience in investor relations, employee communications and corporate communications to Dix & Eaton, where she counsels organizations on a wide variety of issues. A senior managing director of the firm, Ms. Rose is a member of its Leadership Committee.
Drawing on 20 years of varied corporate and agency experience in investor relations, internal communications, corporate communications, and accounting and finance, Ms. Rose advises clients on a full range of strategic organizational communications, change communications and employee engagement, including applications of new media, internal communications research, management communications and corporate communications. She often works with clients on major change initiatives, developing and integrating effective communications to employees and investors during divestitures, mergers, acquisitions and leadership transitions.
Ms. Rose currently serves as practice leader for Dix & Eatonís employee communications group, which provides strategic counsel to help clientsí senior management engage employees to achieve the organizationís business goals. Previously, she was second-in-command of the firmís investor relations group.
Before joining Dix & Eaton in 1996, Ms. Rose was with Associated Estates Realty Corporation, where she served as manager of investor relations and was responsible for the design and implementation of the investor relations program for the newly public real estate investment trust. She was also responsible for all investment community contacts, the production of all financial communications, guiding the company on disclosure requirements and a variety of issues surrounding the companyís capital structure. Ms. Rose also served as the main contact for outside legal counsel on all investor relations-related issues.
Earlier, Ms. Rose was a financial analyst at Reliance Electric Company. Her responsibilities included extensive participation in taking the company public by producing and participating in the initial road show presentations and developing financial models used to determine the appropriate capital structure for the company. In addition to assisting in the ongoing investor relations activities, Ms. Rose provided management and the Board of Directors with extensive financial analysis on the company and its peer group.
Ms. Rose is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and National Investor Relations Institute, and serves on the Executive Committee of PRSAís national employee communications section. She is also a board member of the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, serves on the marketing committee for Cleveland Botanical Garden, and is president of the board for Towards Employment.
