Lisa is a graduate of the University of Rochester and Indiana University and has over 15 years of experience in wound care consultation, practice, education, publication, mentorship and research. She is a partner in CT Clinical Nursing Associates, LLC, offering advanced practice wound care consultation to clients in home care, long term care, and acute care, and is an Advanced Practice Nurse at the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at Hartford Hospital.
Lisa is a former recipient of the AAWC Distinguished Member Award for her leadership as Co-Chair of the Government and Regulatory Affairs Task Force and for her work on this Task Force's first major project, development of an Evidence Based Algorithm for Venous Ulcer Care. She is a co-author of the Secrets Series book, 'Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing' and is active in clinical trials for wound healing products. |
