Lisa is originally from Vicksburg, Mississippi, and, after graduating with honors from Callaway High School in Jackson, enrolled at the University of Mississippi where she received her Bachelor of Accountancy degree. At Ole Miss, Lisa was a member of Phi Mu Sorority, Gamma Beta Phi, Phi Eta Sigma, and Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honorary. Lisa began her career in public accounting with a local Jackson firm, and soon moved to Houston, Texas. While in Houston, Lisa received her CPA designation and is licensed in both Texas and Mississippi. Upon her return to Jackson, Lisa joined the firm of Poole, Cunningham & Reitano, P.A., the GranthamPoole predecessor, and soon became a partner in the firm. As a member of the company’s tax and estate/gift teams, Lisa’s primary emphasis is on preparation of both individual and corporate returns. Lisa holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants. Lisa is married to Jesse R. Browning, Jr., and they have two children. The family attends Christ United Methodist Church. In her leisure time, Lisa enjoys walking, playing tennis, and spending time with family. |
