Lisa M. Quarterman is Executive Vice President and Founder of Cypress Care, Inc. Cypress Care, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is one of the nation’s leading pharmacy benefit management companies focused on the workers compensation and auto insurance industries. Ms. Quarterman co-founded Cypress Care in July 2001. A graduate of the University of Alabama and former teacher, Ms. Quarterman turned her talents toward pharmacy benefit management in 1994. Prior to Cypress Care, Ms. Quarterman developed extensive industry contacts and expertise as the East Coast Director of Sales for One Call Comprehensive Care, a national provider of pharmacy benefit management and home health services. She was directly responsible for implementing the companies' national pharmacy program. Prior to One Call, she spent two years as regional account manager for Progressive Medical, a large player in the DME and pharmacy benefit industry. She was instrumental in pioneering the pharmacy card program to the workers compensation industry and implemented a program that now accounts for over 50% of Progressive Medicals' revenue. Ms. Quarterman has over 13 years of medical and insurance industry experience. Her unique combination of knowledge of healthcare, pharmaceutical, durable medical equipment, IV therapy, and information technology led her to conceive and develop a business strategy that won her a nomination in the 2004 edition of Who’s Who in Corporate America, the 2005 PBMI Rx Benefit Innovation Award, the 2006 Catalyst One to Watch award and the 2006 Stevie Awards Finalist for Women in Business.
