Lisa M. Kaplan, an attorney and former Capitol staff member in the California State Assembly for the past four years, brings her knowledge of the law and policy to the firm. Ms. Kaplan has worked for Speaker pro Tempore, Leland Y. Yee and former Speaker Robert M. Hertzberg. Prior to her work in the Capitol, Ms. Kaplan worked as an attorney specializing in the areas of general litigation, construction litigation, and personal injury. She serves as an elected trustee to the Natomas Unified School District in Sacramento. As a school board member and a legislative staff person, she has initiated and maintained professional relationships with the state’s policy makers and regulatory agencies at the local and state level.
She earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice at Seattle University and a J. D. Degree at McGeorge School of Law. |
