She has worked on numerous litigation matters involving contract and post-acquisition disputes and a broad range of telecommunications matters. Lisa also has extensive experience consulting to law firms law departments and organizations on strategic management data and financial issues.

Litigation Consulting
Served as the forensic accounting expert on behalf of a long distance carrier against an incumbent local exchange carrier on a matter related to the jurisdiction determination for originating 800 traffic. The dispute related to the estimation of inter- versus intra-state usage. Work included the retrieval of numerous documents and electronic data across multiple locations. Millions of records of switching data were analyzed in the rebuttal of the opponent plaintiff's report. The matter settled favorably for our client.
Served as the damages expert representing a telecommunications carrier in a dispute against a 900 number infomercial business customer. Lisa and her team analyzed the customer's financial and telecommunications records to rebut the opponent's expert reports. The work included the analysis of millions of call detail records to assess telecommunications charges charge-backs call revenue amounts and alleged back-billing issues. The matter settled favorably for our client.
For one of the largest not-for-profit hospital groups in the U.S. served as a consulting expert to provide opinions regarding the level of charitable care and other community benefits provided to the communities served. The ability of the hospitals to retain proceeds from the sale of facilities was being challenged by the state's attorney general. The matter settled favorably for our client.
For a major U.S. telecommunications carrier Lisa was hired to consult with regard to a dispute over international termination and transmission rates. The work in preparation for trial testimony included the analysis of FCC proposed negotiated and published international settlement rates the cost of transmitting international traffic and the receiving country's switching costs. The matter concluded with a favorable settlement for our client.
Served as the expert in a matter between a long distance carrier and its pre-paid calling card reseller customer. Her team analyzed the business and financial records of the opponent the pre-paid calling card market for the relevant period and provided a rebuttal report.
Additional Consulting
For a Fortune 500 retailer assisted in an effort to improve the company's compliance with new Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) requirements for the submission of product safety related information. Lisa led a team that assessed the CPSC's requirements and the information the company had available to meet those requirements. Lisa worked with the client to design the process and the databases that would be used for regular submission to the CPSC.
