Ms. Maynor works as a Legislative Consultant and Lobbyist as part of the firm's Governmental Affairs practice group. She represents clients on legislative and governmental matters on Capitol Hill and in State Houses in Alabama and Mississippi. At the federal level, she represents clients in the financial services area, Department of Defense and Transportation areas and in technology industries. Ms. Maynor works with members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives, as well as Administration officials in various departments and agencies on behalf of firm clients. Ms. Maynor has been active in politics since 1986, managing political campaigns and raising money for Republican candidates at state and federal levels. Ms. Maynor earned the status Super Ranger with President Bush's 2004 Presidential Campaign. Ms. Maynor was named Alabama Republican of the Year in 2003 and has served as Finance Chair to the Alabama Republican Party. Ms. Maynor was elected as a Bush Delegate from the state of Alabama to the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York and was also elected to serve on the Platform Committee at the Convention. Ms. Maynor was selected by President Bush to serve as his personal representative to the Czech Republic in 2005 to attend VE commemoration ceremonies celebrating the liberation of Czechoslovakia during WWII. Ms. Maynor was selected by Governor Bob Riley to serve on his Education Spending Commission and was appointed by Governor Riley to serve on the Alabama Certificate of Need Board where she currently serves. Ms. Maynor has also been active in her community raising money and participating in such organizations as Rotary, Von Braun Civic Center Board, Chamber of Commerce, Children's Advocacy Center, Crimestoppers, Constitution Hall Park, Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild, Huntsville Museum of Art, Randolph School Board of Trustees and Capital Campaign Chair, and Commissioner to the U. S. Space and Rocket Center Board.
