Lilyn tracks client news coverage for Capstrat's NewsTracker and provides media relations assistance to several account teams including the North Carolina Health and Wellness Trust Fund. Her background in journalism began as a reporter with a community newspaper and as a freelancer for the Philadelphia Daily News, The Herald-Sun, The News & Observer, The Independent and Southern Living magazine. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, majoring in political science with a concentration in international relations. She was elected as the youngest board member to serve on the Orange County Economic Development Commission. Her other volunteer work includes serving as an Orange County precinct chief and a poll volunteer. |
