Prior to joining RedChip Dr. Zhong was the Senior Manager of Biostatistics at Gilead Sciences Inc. While at the Company, Dr. Zhong lead biostatistical activities in the development of a new class of anti-HIV/AIDS integrase inhibitors. Dr. Zhong worked as a clinical trial statistician for eight years in the pharmaceutical industry and as a research statistician for five years in a cancer research institute. Dr. Zhong has extensive experience in protocol development, clinical trials design, data collection, data management, data analysis, and study reporting with hands-on skills in statistical programming using SAS and S-plus. Dr. Zhong holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from McGill University in Canada, an M.Sc. in Biostatistics from Shanghai Medical University in Shanghai, China, as well as an M.D. from Shanghai Medical University and is expected to complete his MBA in spring of 2007 from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. Additionally, Dr. Zhong has been published in over twenty medical journals. |
