Mr. Barroso has been the Company’s chief financial officer since May 2004 and was appointed by the Investment Funds in accordance with the shareholders' agreement. Mr. Barroso held executive positions at major financial institutions including Banco Nacional S.A. Banco Real S.A. and Banco Safra S.A. He was also Executive Officer at Companhia de Concessões Rodoviárias. Mr. Barroso holds a degree in Economics an Executive MBA in Finance from IBMEC Business School and a post-graduate degree in business law from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (Fundação Getúlio Vargas or FGV).
