Lew joined Cornell Global in June 2007. He has spent over 25 years as a senior sales and marketing executive and consultant in Financial Services and Publishing. He has successfully hired and trained hundreds of sales and marketing executives and has built formidable organizations during his career. Lew began to formalize his hiring skills while at Standard & Poor's Corporation in New York in the mid 1980's, serving as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Retail Services Division. His effective hiring techniques helped him to build two major organizations for S & P effecting a much lower turnover rate and much higher productivity. During his tenure at S&P, he designed and implemented a formal hiring program eventually taught to executives at Dow Jones, Money-Media and Standard and Poor's. After 14 years at Standard & Poor's, Lew took his managerial experience to Bridge Information Systems as SVP Sales and Marketing where he started a new corporate division for the company. After the Reuters acquisition of Bridge, Lew accepted a position at Thomson Financial, as EVP Sales for the Corporate Group. He directed a large organization encompassing three divisions: Corporate Research in the identification of stock ownership; Investor Relations, focusing on management software applications; and Internet Web Hosting and Web Casting, highlighting web based services for the corporate market . Lew has been active in community affairs as well, having been President of a local Civic Association, President of the Little League and CYO Basketball Leagues, and as a career counselor for his local Church. He attended college on an athletic scholarship where he was captain of the baseball team. He spent a year in the minor leagues after college. He has also performed on stage with two Academy Award winning actresses in local productions. Lew holds Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Business degrees from C. W. Post College of Long Island University.
