On behalf of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Western Washington Seattle’s Ronald McDonald House, I write to thank the wonderful people of Shoot The Hoop for their participation in the 2004 Hockey Challenge. The 2004 Hockey Challenge was a very important year for us. It was a year to refocus our energies, re-tool our event and tie it into the community in an effort to allow the community at large to have more ownership it worked! The evidence for us was, in part, the generous donation of nearly $2,500 made by Shoot The Hoop after only two days of involvement in this event. This contribution is a solid reflection of the evidence that people in the community really care, and that you are people willing to bring professional skills, talents and enthusiasm and put those traits to good use inside their own communities. In only your first year in business, Shoot The Hoop has proven that it is a business made up of winners willing to donate their time and efforts to give back to those of their own community that are in need. And, you have further proven that Shoot The Hoop is an innovative game capable of generating new revenue streams for businesses to implement into their existing events. While offering all this, you enable fans and patrons with a fun, interactive way to participate and win some great prizes!
