Drafted in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft (226th overall), McCoy saw action in 10 games in his rookie season, making four starts. Injured his thumb in Arizona’s training camp in 2006 and was placed on injured reserve on 9/3/06.

2005: Deactivated for the first four games of the season saw his first NFL action on special teams vs. Car (10/9) caught three passes for 25 yards in his first extended action on offense vs. Sea (11/6) started his first career NFL game and recorded six receptions for 70 yards @ Det (11/13) as both Anquan Boldin (knee) and Bryant Johnson (shoulder) were deactivated due to injuries recorded his second career start, the first of three consecutive, and caught two passes for 40 yards vs. Jax (11/27) in a three wide receiver set started @ SF (12/4) and vs. Was (12/11) in four wide receiver sets recorded his first career touchdown on a two-yard pass from Kurt Warner vs. Was caught two passes for 28 yards @ Hou (12/18) suffered an ankle injury vs. Phi (12/24) and did not record a reception deactivated for the season finale @ Ind (1/1).
College:
In 43 games with Indiana University of Pennsylvania, caught 110 passes for 2,096 yards (19.1 avg) and 25 touchdowns gained 222 yards on 12 kickoff returns (18.5 avg) and carried 16 times for 168 yards (10.5 avg), including three scores all-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference first-team choice as a senior caught 36 passes for a career-high 701 yards (19.5 avg) and 10 touchdowns as a junior started 10 games, catching 30 passes for 640 yards (21.3 avg) and eight touchdowns as a sophomore appeared in 10 games as a freshman, starting once, after attending Fort Union Military School in 2000.
