Leon V. Shivamber is the vice president Supply Chain Management and Operations for Harris Corporation. Mr. Shivamber provides companywide leadership in the areas of procurement, logistics, and operations strategy and execution. He joined Harris in 2004.
Before joining Harris, Mr. Shivamber founded Vertisync, a New York-based supply chain service company, where he successfully built alliances with leading supply chain infrastructure and service providers. From 1996 to 2001, he held senior positions for supply chain management, product management, and strategic planning at Arrow Electronics, a global distributor of electronic components and provider of supply chain and value-added solutions to more than 175,000 customers.
Prior to joining Arrow Electronics, he spent 10 years in management consulting with McKinsey and Company and New York Consulting Partners, where he led supply chain and operations activities for U.S. and international clients.
He earned a B.B.A. from Baruch College of the City University of New York, and an M.B.A. from Indiana University. |
