An Alabama native, McCord moved to Kansas City two years ago and joined Truman Medical Centers as the 2004 Administrative Resident in the Executive Office. Upon completion of her residency, Ms. McCord accepted the role of Manager, Guest Services at the Hospital Hill campus. She moved to her current role as Assistant in January 2006 where she currently works with John Bluford and on a number of special projects across the organization.
McCord graduated with honors from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management. She also received a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Rockhurst University. She is a Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the National Association of Health Services Executives and the National Black MBA Association. |
