Lele Nardin is the Senior Vice President of Engineering who will be responsible for driving the development of our products worldwide. Lele has more than 20 years of experience in Product Development and has led from design to deployment several multi-billion dollar platforms in the Networking industry. Before joining Redback he spent 15 years at Cisco Systems initially as a SW developer and since 2000 as a VP/GM leading the Engineering and Marketing for some of the most successful routers and modular switches like the Cisco 7200 7500 and 7600 product families Cisco 10000 Cat6k and Cat5k. Lele also has a successful track record in the development of Network Processors since he led the development of both the Cisco PXF and the recently introduced Cisco Quantum Flow Processor.
Prior to joining Cisco Lele held software development and management positions at StrataCom Inc. where he helped define the network protocol used by the IPX and BPX products. He also worked on voice and data PBX systems as a software developer for Telestream Corp. and at David Systems while on assignment for Pirelli.
Lele is a native of Italy and holds a Master degree in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunication Systems from the University of Padova Italy. He is the recipient of a patent on network protocols. |
