Project Manager for the design, permitting, and construction of a 33-acre double composite lined landfill cell at the Tomoka Farms Road Landfill. The landfill was designed to be constructed below the water table in an existing borrow pit. The inward gradient design provides a high level of protection to adjacent ground water. The project included cell and liner design, leachate collection and disposal, stormwater permitting, and a new entrance roadway.

*Volusia County, Florida, Closure of the Plymouth Avenue Landfill. Project Manager for the closure of the Plymouth Avenue Landfill, a 129-acre municipal landfill. The project included design of a geosynthetic clay liner for the barrier layer, erosion control and stormwater management, permitting, and construction observation and certification. The project also included installation of 30 gas vents, constructed through the in-place waste.

* Volusia County, Florida, Design and Permitting of an Expansion at the Tomoka Farms Road Landfill. Project Manager and Project Engineer for the design and permitting of a 53-acre expansion to the Tomoka Farms Road Landfill. The bottom liner design incorporated geocomposite drainage net in lieu of leachate collection pipe laterals.
