Lee Pieper joined McCauley, Nicolas & Company, LLC in 1979 and was admitted as a Member in 1981. He is a former Managing Partner and currently serves on the firm's Executive Committee.Instrumental in the development of the firm's policies and procedures on Quality Control, Lee has been in charge of the Accounting and Auditing Peer Review Program since the 1980s.Industry Experience Lee has over 30 years experience in public accounting, which includes a 10-year association with a national firm. For many years, he led the firm's Accounting and Auditing Division.He actively serves clients in retailing, construction, banking, and manufacturing, as well as nonprofit organizations and others. He has considerable experience in litigation support, business valuations, business acquisitions, sales and mergers, and assists clients with business plans, budgeting and cash flow analyses.Education Lee holds a B.A. in Accounting from Bellarmine College (now Bellarmine University), 1972, and is licensed to practice as a CPA in Kentucky and Indiana.Professional and Community Activities Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, Lee has served on the Accounting and Auditing Committee of PKF North American Network, an association of legally independent firms.Over the years, Lee has been active in a number of civic and support organizations, including the Board of Trustees of a regional hospital, United Way Allocation and Review Committee, and the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees of Bellarmine University. He is a member of the Bellarmine University Alumni Association and has served as its President. |
