Lee brings 15 years of broad semiconductor technology expertise to the Firm specifically in the areas of wireless, semiconductor processing, advanced materials, and analog and mixed signal technologies. Before joining VantagePoint in 2002, he founded an optical component company which was subsequently acquired by New Focus, a leading photonics solutions provider. He then joined New Focus where he served as Director of Modulator Development and led product design, marketing, and manufacturing. He holds six patents with two additional patents pending in optical networking and device manufacturing. Lee graduated with honors from the California Institute of Technology (BS, MS) and is also a candidate for a PhD in Applied Physics |
