Lee B. Murphey is Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of MidCountry Financial. Mr. Murphey was Senior Vice President, Senior Credit Officer for Branch Banking and Trust Company from November 1999 until April 2004. In this position, Mr. Murphey was responsible for the administration, evaluation and direction of the Mid-South Georgia Region’s $1.1 billion business loan portfolio. Mr. Murphey served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of First Liberty Financial Corp. from 1991 until 1999. Mr. Murphey has also been involved with numerous professional and civic organizations. For example, he served as the International Chairman of RMA-The Risk Management Association, (The International Association of Lending and Credit Risk Professionals), during 1998-1999. He is currently the chairman of the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce. |
