Lee B. Backsen is Vice President - Exploration for Andex Resources, LLC. Mr. Backsen previously was a consulting geologist for Continental Land & Fur Co., Inc. and Grant Geophysical, Inc., for whom he screened exploratory prospects in the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast Basins. Prior to establishing his consulting practice in 2000, Mr. Backsen spent more than 35 years in senior exploration management positions with Burlington Resources Inc., UMC Petroleum Corporation, General Atlantic Gulf Coast Inc., Kerr McGee Corporation, Pelto Oil Company, Spectrum Oil and Gas Company and Shell Oil Company. Mr. Backsen earned BS and MS degrees in Geology from Iowa State University. |
