LeAnne Burnett serves as a shareholder and director in the Firm’s Oklahoma City office. She is an experienced general litigation and trial lawyer who has focused expertise in environmental and complex litigations, as well as in class action and toxic tort defenses. Ms. Burnett has served as counsel on many national cases and numerous U.S. District Court cases. Ms. Burnett has published eight works related to her fields of practice, many of which discuss environmental law. She has served as an editor and co-author for the Oklahoma Environmental Law Handbook published by the Oklahoma Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Burnett has taught many environmental law seminars for the Oklahoma and Arkansas Bar Associations, as well as a seminar focusing on family law. She has also been a member of the Robert J. Turner Inn of Court since 1998, and has served with Oklahoma Lawyers for Children since 2000. Also, Ms. Burnett is listed in The Best Lawyers in America (Enviromental Law). Ms. Burnett was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 1989 after she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She graduated with numerous honors, some of which include being elected to the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers. Ms. Burnett received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University in 1971. |
