M. Leanne Lachman is president of Lachman Associates LLC, an independent real estate consultancy. Previously, Ms. Lachman spent four years as managing director of Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, a global institutional investment manager. Prior to that, she was a partner of Schroder Real Estate Associates, a boutique real estate manager. Her early career was with Real Estate Research Corporation, where she served as chief executive officer. Lachman is a frequent speaker and her most recent publications are Global Demographics and their Real Estate Investment Implications (2006), and The New Exports: Office Jobs (2004). Ms. Lachman has published articles in Pension World, Real Estate Review, Journal of Housing, Growth and Change, Nation’s Cities, Assessment Digest, Mortgage Banker, Urban Land, National Real Estate Investor, Real Estate Today, Governmental Finance, Real Estate Forum and Investment Policy. Lachman is on the boards of Lincoln National Corporation, Lincoln Life & Annuity Company of New York and Liberty Property Trust. She is also an executive-in-residence at Columbia Business School. She is a member of The Urban Land Institute and a governor of the Urban Land Foundation. Ms. Lachman is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry and The World Who’s Who of Women. Lachman received her bachelor of arts degree in 1964 from the University of Southern California and was awarded her master of arts degree in 1966 from Claremont Graduate University. |
