Lawrence A. Zimmerman was named Chief Financial Officer of Xerox Corporation, Stamford, Conn. in June 2002. He is also a corporate Executive Vice President. Zimmerman is responsible for all finance, treasury, tax and audit operations at Xerox.
Zimmerman joined Xerox in 2002 after retiring from International Business Machines (IBM) Corporation where he held senior executive finance positions. A 31-year employee of IBM, Zimmerman was Vice President, Finance and Planning for the company's multibillion-dollar Server and Technology division from 1996-1998. Prior to this position, he was Vice President, Finance of IBM's Europe, Middle East and Africa operations, headquartered in Paris, from 1994-1996. He served as Corporate Controller at IBM from 1991-1994, Assistant General Manager in Finance and Planning for the Enterprise System division from 1989-1991, and Director of Budgets from 1988-1989.
Zimmerman received a bachelor’s degree in finance from New York University in 1965 and a master's degree in business administration from Adelphi University in 1967. He is a member of the board of directors of The Stanley Works. |
