Laurie Siegel is the senior vice president of human resources and internal communications of Tyco International. In this role, Siegel has worldwide responsibility for leading the company’s strategies in the areas of leadership development, organizational effectiveness, compensation and benefits, staffing, diversity, learning, human resource systems and processes, and internal communications. Siegel joined Tyco in January 2003 after being employed by Honeywell International for eight years where she served in various roles in the human resources area. During her tenure at Honeywell, Siegel held positions at the aerospace division, the specialty materials division and at the corporate headquarters. Prior to joining Honeywell, Siegel was also director of global compensation at Avon Products and a principal at Strategic Compensation Associates. Siegel holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies from the University of Michigan and received a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in city planning from Harvard University. Siegel is a member of the Personnel Roundtable and is on the advisory boards of the Cornell Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies and The Rutgers Business School. She also serves on the board of directors and chairs the compensation committee for Embarq. She lives in Morristown, New Jersey with her husband and two daughters.
