Laurie Basch serves as Senior Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs for ClubMom. With over 13 years of legal experience, Laurie brings a wealth of knowledge to the company. She is responsible for identifying and addressing all legal and privacy issues. In addition, Laurie manages all legal aspects of sweepstakes and promotions, handles the company's intellectual property issues as well as all contractual issues. Prior to joining ClubMom, Laurie was General Counsel at Colonize.com, an Internet marketing company. From 1998 to 2002, Laurie was a partner, and prior to that, an associate at Hall Dickler Kent Goldstein & Wood, where she concentrated in counseling clients on matters involving advertising and marketing law, regulatory issues, and intellectual property rights. Prior to Hall Dickler, Laurie held the position of Counsel at The Columbia House Company, the direct marketing entertainment firm. She began her career as a bankruptcy attorney and litigator at Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Laurie is a graduate of Fordham Law School where she served on the Urban Law Journal. She is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. |
