Laurie A. Barrera, CPA is a manager in the accounting and tax department at Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C. She is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and has over twenty years experience in the accounting field. Laurie consults on for-profit accounting engagements such as compilations and reviews. She specializes in tax engagements, particularly the preparation and review of individual, partnership, estate and corporate tax returns, including multi-state returns. She is also responsible for ongoing firm recruiting and the review and selection of tax software programs. Laurie is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She serves on the board of directors and is the treasurer of the Mental Health Association of Cattaraugus County, and volunteers her time and talents to various community activities in the Ellicottville, New York area. |
