After receiving his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, Dr. Grimm joined the faculty of the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received tenure and served as Director of Clinical Psychology from 1990 to 2002. He has over 40 publications, including three books on scientific methodology and statistics. He has published extensively on the Type A personality and short-term interventions from a perspective that emphasizes needs analysis and problem solving. His twenty-three years in private practice has included performance enhancement and executive coaching with some of the industrial leaders in the Chicago area. Dr. Grimm focuses on assessment systems, executive coaching, and developmental workshops on stress management, time management, and efficiency.
