Practice Emphasis Administrative Law, Land Use and Zoning, Public Utilities, Gaming Law, Real Estate Professional Experience Laura Granier is an associate in Lionel Sawyer & Collins' Gaming and Regulatory Law Department. Ms. Granier's practice includes administrative litigation and judicial review of regulatory agency decisions with an emphasis on disputes involving land use and zoning determinations. In addition, Ms. Granier practices in the areas of Indian gaming, eminent domain, public utility regulation, financial institutions, state tax law, and gaming law. Ms. Granier is the Vice-President and Program Coordinator for the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association and Co-Chairperson for the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association's Partners In Education Program. Ms. Granier also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Nevada Public Education Foundation. Prior to joining Lionel Sawyer & Collins, Ms. Granier worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Procter Hug, Jr., then Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
