Laura B. Grubbs currently practices in Middleton Reutlinger’s Commercial Litigation and Business Law practice groups. Her practice concentrates in business law and real estate transactions including property acquisition and disposition, commercial lease negotiations, contract disputes, as well as corporate and civil litigation. Laura serves on the Board of Directors for the Exploited Children’s Help Organization (ECHO), a volunteer-based organization dedicated to protecting children of Kentuckiana from victimization through advocacy, public education, prevention and support services. Prior to joining Middleton Reutlinger, Laura was a member of the Brandeis Law Journal (now the University of Louisville Law Review), served as an Articles Editor and published, Something’s Gotta Give: The Conflict Between Rule of Evidence 407 and the Feasible Alternative Design Requirement. While in law school, she argued in the National Moot Court Competition and received the Clark Boardman Callaghan Best Brief Award. Laura volunteered for the Access to Justice Foundation in Lexington as an editor of A Handbook for Kentucky Grandparents and Other Relative Caregivers (2007). Prior to attending law school, Laura was employed by Middleton Reutlinger as a Litigation Paralegal. |
