Larry Zmuda is a partner, Homeland Security, Unisys Federal Systems. In this capacity, he leads efforts to position Unisys as an end-to-end services provider to the Department of Homeland Security.
His current responsibility is with the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Air Exit program, which is part of the larger US-VISIT program. This initiative will record the departure of visa-holding visitors through the capture of biometric and biographical information. This project is part of the Transportation Security Administration’s Information Technology Managed Services (ITMS) task order, awarded to Unisys in August 2002, under the Department of Transportation’s Information Technology Omnibus Procurement (ITOP II) contract.
Larry joins Unisys from BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting, Inc.), where he was managing director with global responsibility for the United States Marine Corps account. As head of this account, he had authority over a practice generating $12 million in revenue annually.
Previously, Larry was with KPMG LLP, where he helped lead their west coast Department of Defense initiatives. During this tenure, he led the Base Realignment and Closure efforts for the firm. As a result of this duty, he received the Hammer Award for Streamlining Government from the Office of the Vice President of the United States. |
