Larry Wright Jr. joined the Jaguars on February 1, 2003. As assistant director, pro personnel, Wright assists in scouting college players, evaluating players in NFL Europa, the Arena League and the Canadian Football League, scouting NFL restricted and unrestricted free agents and evaluating players on other teams' rosters, as well as assisting in advanced scouting of Jaguars' opponents.
Wright was the head coach at Ringgold (La.) High School in 2001 and '02, and previously was a graduate assistant at Grambling, a scouting intern with the Baltimore Ravens, and a volunteer strength and conditioning coach for the Grambling basketball team.
He earned a degree in sociology at Louisiana Tech, where he was a three-year letterman and team captain, and received a master's degree in sports administration at Grambling. He and his wife, Vincincia, have two daughters, Victoria and Lauryn. They live in Jacksonville. |
