Larry Holtz was named Head of U.S. Global Debt Markets, part of RBC Financial Group's Global Markets Division, in November 2004. His primary responsibility is to lead all of RBC's fixed income business in the United States and develop strategies that provide more integrated services to RBC's institutional clients, while ensuring that our U.S. Wealth Management platform fully benefits from the expanded offering of fixed income products and services. Mr. Holtz is a member of both the RBC Dain Rauscher and RBC Global Markets Operating Committees. Mr. Holtz has worked in the firm's Fixed Income Group for more than 15 years. He was named president of RBC Dain Rauscher's Fixed Income Group in January 2002, assuming management responsibility for Fixed Income Investment Banking, Institutional Sales, Trading, Underwriting and Research. Previously, he had been senior vice president of the Fixed Income Sales and Trading department since 2000, director of the firm's Taxable Fixed Income group and, prior to that, head of the Taxable Trading department. Mr. Holtz joined the firm in 1986 as a government bond trader. Earlier in his career, he had been a fixed income trader at Piper Jaffray. Mr. Holtz has a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. |
