As Vice President of Marketing, Larry Hemley joined On Assignment in July of 2004. Mr. Hemley’s responsibilities include the creation, strategic development and implementation of all marketing including websites, collateral, marketing programs, tradeshows and career fairs, advertising, and direct mail for the entire corporation.
Prior to joining On Assignment, Mr. Hemley served as Director of Marketing and Communications for COMSYS Information Technology Services (VENP), one of the nation’s premier providers of IT staffing and solutions. In his four years with COMSYS, he was responsible for rebranding the company, creating successful marketing programs, collateral development, and launching two additional brands.
Prior to COMSYS, Mr. Hemley directed marketing for Stanford Financial Group, a Houston-based financial organization where he oversaw marketing for all divisions including international banking, brokerage, trust services as well as launched the Caribbean Star Airline, a subsidiary of Stanford Financial. Mr. Hemley was formerly an account manager and sales manager for Houston Business Journal.
Mr. Hemley is a former Professor of Advertising at the University of Houston where he spent five years. As an advertising competition class, Mr. Hemley guided his class to a national championship for the university in 1993.
