Larry Carter, senior vice president, is responsible for sales operations and the customer experience for AT&T wireless operations.
Prior to this role, Carter was responsible for sales and profitability of National Channels at Cingular, including Business-to-Business, Telesales, eCommerce, and National Retail, and the company's sales organization.
He also served as that company's region president-Gulf States, responsible for sales and overall profit/loss responsibility for the 5,000-employee region, which served 3.2 million customers and had annual revenues of $2.3 billion. Before joining Cingular, Carter had a long, distinguished career at BellSouth, where he held various positions.
Carter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
