Larry Wangberg served as a director of the cable television network TechTV L.L.C. from August 1997 to May 2004 and also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer through July 2002. He has been a Director of Charter Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: CHTR) since January 2002.
Prior to joining TechTV L.L.C. Mr. Wangberg was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of StarSight Telecast Inc. an interactive navigation and program guide company which later merged with Gemstar International from 1994 to 1997. Mr. Wangberg served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Times Mirror Cable Television and Senior Vice President of its parent company The Times Mirror Co. from 1983 to 1994.
Mr. Wangberg currently serves on the boards of Autodesk Inc. and ADC Telecommunications.
He attended the University of Minnesota where he received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. |
