Mr. Grant joined KGS as the President / General Manager in August 2006 to lead and oversee all of KGS's client relationships, business strategies, solutions and service offerings, partnerships, internal operations, and team of professional associates.
Prior to joining KGS, Mr. Grant was the General Dynamics National and Defense Intelligence Solutions Southern Region Director, with profit and loss responsibility for more than 700 personnel operating in the Southeast United States, Cuba, and the Middle East. During his three-years of leadership, the Southern Region experienced record growth and profitable revenues.
Before joining General Dynamics, Mr. Grant had a distinguished 20-year career with the United States Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He held positions as a Computer and Communications Officer and as an Intelligence Officer. Mr. Grant's various roles included computer programmer, systems analyst, executive officer, program manager, human intelligence officer, wing intelligence officer, command staff officer, and chief intelligence officer/chief technology officer. He culminated his military career serving as the Chief Information Officer/Chief Technology Officer, Directorate of Intelligence, U.S. Central Command, MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida, during Operations Desert Thunder, Desert Fox, and Enduring Freedom. Mr. Grant provided leadership and management to all facets of IT support to U.S. Central Command's Intelligence operations at MacDill AFB, to U.S. Central Command's deployed headquarters, and to all Intelligence organizations assigned to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in Southwest Asia.
Mr. Grant holds a Master's of Information Science degree from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Troy University, Troy, Alabama. Mr. Grant also attended the Joint Staff Officers College, Norfolk, Virginia, the Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, and the Squadron Officers School, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. |
