Mr. Strauss joined InteKrin Therapeutics in 2007 as chief financial officer. Larry has spent eighteen years in the life science industry within the finance and operations realms of both public and private companies. Prior to joining InteKrin, he was providing interim CFO services to several life science companies. Larry served as full-time CFO for Hansen Medical, Inc. and Vivus, Inc. Prior to Vivus, he served as a vice president of finance for Baxter Healthcare Corporation. Beginning in 1999, Larry was CFO for Fusion Medical Technologies, Inc., a developer of surgical products, which was acquired by Baxter Healthcare Corporation in May 2002. Other positions have included vice president of operations for CardioGenesis Corporation and chief financial officer for Xoma Corporation. Larry began his career in 1976 with PriceWaterhouse’s management consulting practice.
Larry received a master of science degree in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of California at Berkeley and a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics, cum laude, from Claremont McKenna College. |
