Mr. Merker has been President and CEO of OmniUpdate since 2001. Under his leadership, OmniUpdate has become the leading provider of web CMS in the Higher Education marketplace. Prior to OmniUpdate, Mr. Merker held several positions at Mainstay, a publisher of desktop application software. As the Director of Sales and Marketing for Mainstay, Mr. Merker spent over 10 years leading and managing their sales, marketing, and communications teams. As their Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Merker played a key role in the corporate reorganization from Mainstay to OmniUpdate, repositioning the company's product portfolio from desktop software to web CMS solutions. Mr. Merker is a regular guest speaker on the subject of web CMS at industry conferences nationwide. He holds a BS and MBA from the University of California, Riverside. |
