For more than 30 years, Lana Weinstein has honed her skills in marketing, public relations, writing, fund development and qualitative research. She has directed integrated marketing, communications and advertising campaigns and successfully consulted for corporations, health care organizations, non-profits, professional service firms and universities.

Weinstein’s depth of experience enables her to utilize available resources for maximum impact. She is skilled at analyzing the competitive marketplace and developing strategies and tactics to position clients for maximum growth. Her advocacy work on behalf of clients has helped to galvanize public opinion on education and public health issues and earned the firm the 2005 Best of Show and Pepper Pot Awards from the Philadelphia Chapter, Public Relations Society of America, in both 2005 and 2006.

Her ability to identify and pitch the most intriguing angle has resulted in extensive media coverage. Nationally, these placements have included a People Magazine cover article and stories in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Washington Times, Associated Press, Reuters, French Press Agency, Dow Jones, USA Today, National Geographic, National Law Journal, Prevention, Ladies Home Journal, Redbook and Parents. Prior to joining Toplin & Associates, Weinstein directed the marketing efforts and served as a consultant for Omega Group Inc., a firm that provides strategic consulting services to Fortune 500 companies. She participated in strategic positioning initiatives for global pharmaceutical companies and facilitated research in Japan. She also served as director of marketing for The Renfrew Center, with responsibility for nine mental health facilities.

Weinstein holds a bachelor of science degree (cum laude) from Temple University’s Annenberg School of Communications and Theater where she majored in Radio, Television & Film.
