Kyle Boyle is a senior managing director with FTI Palladium Partners and is based in Miami. Mr. Boyle has more than 12 years of experience in operational turnarounds of troubled companies. He has served as chief executive officer and represented financial institutions on the board of troubled companies during turnarounds. Mr. Boyle has experience with acquisitions, divestitures, debt negotiations and refinancing, and bankruptcy.
Mr. Boyle's expertise includes crisis management, turnarounds, problem solving, financial analysis, plant consolidation, relocation, teambuilding, business plan development and execution. He is quickly able to assess a situation and to develop and implement a recovery plan.
Some of Mr. Boyle's industry experience includes manufacturing, printing, consumer products, home furnishing, retail, home décor, textiles, property management and healthcare. He has managed operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia as well as developed an import business from China.
Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Boyle worked with numerous private equity sponsors, including Citicorp Venture Capital, Windjammer Capital, Harvest Partners and Lincolnshire Management. Most recently, Mr. Boyle served as chief executive officer of a troubled home décor manufacturer. He led his team to relocate an operation in Mexico to a larger facility, consolidate a facility in the United States into the new Mexican facility, downsize and relocate the corporate headquarters and outsource 20 percent of the manufacturing to China.
Mr. Boyle served as management advisor to various private equity sponsors, evaluating both manufacturing companies and retail chains as potential acquisitions. Before that, Mr. Boyle was retained to develop a turnaround plan for a large residential property management company, consisting of 15,000 units.
Prior to his work as an advisor, Mr. Boyle served as the chief executive officer of Serta Mattress, which was in financial default with its lenders. Mr. Boyle's efforts transformed the business from cash flow negative to cash flow positive. He developed and implemented a long-term plan to increase profitability significantly in preparation to sell the business.
Prior to that, Mr. Boyle served as chief executive officer of Electrocal Designs Inc. During his tenure, the company grew from $15 million with one operating facility to $100 million with six operating facilities worldwide.
Mr. Boyle holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in accounting and management and a B.S. in finance with a minor in economics from Western New England College.
