Kyle V. Leishman is a member of Jones Waldo’s Real Estate practice group. His practice focuses on real estate development, real estate leasing, real estate and commercial finance, agricultural cooperative law, condominium law, foreclosures, and general corporate practice. He has represented numerous national and local clients in buying, selling and developing residential and commercial real estate, been involved in numerous transactions involving large and small retail and industrial companies, and represented numerous lending institutions in asset-backed loan transactions. He enjoys counseling individuals and associations with respect to real estate and commercial issues. He was named one of Utah's Legal Elite by Utah Business Magazine in 2006 and 2008. He is a member of the Business and Real Property Sections of the Utah State Bar, the American Bar Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Kyle is actively involved in the community. He participates in the Young Alumni Association at the University of Utah, is a member of the Beehive Credit Union Supervisory Committee and is on the Board of AMICUS, the fundraising arm of the Deseret Foundation.
Kyle was born in Ogden, Utah, December 27, 1968. He attended the University of Utah where he was elected Student Body Vice-President and President of the Student Alumni Association. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance in 1994. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 2000, where he was a William H. Leary Scholar. Kyle joined Jones Waldo in 2000. |
