Mr. Lee was born in Seoul, Korea immigrated to the United States in 1973. Mr. Lee received Bachelor of Science Degree in the field of Computer Science from American university and started as a Software Engineer in 1978 with Galler Associates. By 1981 he had been recruited by Honeywell to develop mainframe operating systems (GCOS). As a Honeywell employee, Mr. Lee quickly advanced to their highest technical position "Principal Software Engineer" and played a lead engineering role in all the major Department of Defense projects of their time:

In 1999, Mr. Lee founded SoftConcept Inc; an Information Technology (IT) company located in Fairfax, Virginia. Using a team approach, his vision was to provide performance based solutions and follow-on support for his clients. Mr. Lee was ahead of his time. SoftConcept is run with a horizontal management structure that facilitates open communications between management and staff. This enables SoftConcept to remain agile and respond quickly to a changing environment. With a strong technical background and motivation, Mr. Lee acquired the company's first commercial engineering services contract in 1999 and the first US Government engineering support services contract in 2000. Defense Information System Agency (DISA) sponsored software - Network Traffic Analysis System (NTAS), development project SoftConcept is building a strong foundation and is on target to become one of the future's prominent IT engineering firms. They have acquired a variety of contract vehicles and are reinvesting all profits back into the company; specifically through the development of commercial software products. Commercial network monitoring software - SeeNet. Though still a young firm, SoftConcept holds a number of substantial engineering and support contracts with; the Defense Information System Agency (DISA), DISA Global Network Operations and Security Center (GNOSC), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Communications Center (NCC), the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC) and the U.S. Combatant Commands (COCOM's). Since the inception of the SoftConcept, Mr. Lee has set and achieved ambitious goals.
