Kurt McLaughlin has over fifteen years of experience in the outdoor advertising industry and is currently the Vice President of Real Estate for Olympus Media, LLC, overseeing their entire real estate portfolio, as well as the due diligence and integration work of the M&A Department. Previously, Kurt served as the Real Estate Manager and Operations Manager for Olympus Media Group. He was part of the National Real Estate Team that traveled the United States developing lease sites for the company. His contributions to that team were crucial to the company's development, and he successfully obtained many leases in locations where he faced strong challenges from competitors, landowners and demanding regulatory environments.
Earlier in his career, Kurt was employed by Outdoor Systems as an Account Executive in the Central Florida market. Prior to joining Outdoor Systems, Kurt worked for POA Acquisition Corporation, an Orlando-based outdoor advertising company with over 6,300 billboard faces located throughout five southeastern states. While at POA, Kurt worked in the Operations Department as a journeyman billposter and managed one of the five routes in the area. In addition to billposting, Kurt also worked briefly on the rotary crew where he changed out vinyl faces and panels.
Kurt lives in Alpharetta, Georgia. He is married with one son, Seth, a little girl on the way, and their Scottish terrier, Kacey. Kurt enjoys golfing, skiing, scuba diving and spending time with his family. |
