Mr. Rechner became the President and Chief Operating Officer for Tejas Incorporated and Tejas Securities Group, Inc. in June 2004. Mr. Rechner served as CFO for Tejas Incorporated and Tejas Securities Group, Inc. from January 2000 to June 2004. He also currently serves in the capacity of Secretary for both organizations.
Prior to joining Tejas Securities Group, Inc., Kurt worked as Vice President of Investments for San Antonio Savings Association, Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance for Security Service Federal Credit Union, and most recently as Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations for Xerox Federal Credit Union in El Segundo, California.
Kurt graduated with a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Illinois and earned his MBA in Finance from Trinity University in San Antonio. Kurt is a licensed CPA and CFA and has taken and passed the Series 7, 24, 63 and 27 exams.
