Kurt J. Gollnick is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Scheid Vineyards. Kurt joined Scheid Vineyards in 1988 as General Manager, Vineyard Operations. For seven years prior to joining Scheid Vineyards, he was a vineyard manager for Thornhill Ranches of Santa Maria, California, where he managed 1,200 acres of vineyards. Kurt is a director of Monterey County Vintners and Growers Association and serves as a director of Wine Institute, representing Monterey and Santa Cruz counties. He also has served as a director of the California Association of Winegrape Growers from 1989 to 1997, and as president of the Central Coast Grape Growers and Monterey Grape Growers Associations.
