Kumi is a member of Graham & Dunn’s Board of Directors, focusing her practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate planning and governance, and general business transactions. Her experience includes both private and public company mergers, stock and asset sales and purchases, going-private transactions and other corporate planning measures. She assists financial institutions with state and federal banking matters and has worked on numerous new bank formations (both state-chartered and national), and holding company reorganizations and business combinations. She has also served as pro bono corporate counsel to The Humane Society for Seattle/King County. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Kumi has lived in Seattle since graduating from law school in Boston.
