Krishna Shankar joined JMP Securities in September 2002 as a Managing Director and senior research analyst covering the semiconductor industry.
Prior to joining JMP, Krishna had been a Principal in the semiconductor investment banking group at Banc of America Securities since 2000. From 1998 to 2000, he was a Managing Director of semiconductor banking at Needham & Co. Krishna previously served as an equity research analyst covering semiconductors at DLJ Securities, Salomon Brothers and Montgomery Securities, beginning in 1992. Krishna also followed the semiconductor industry as a research analyst at Gartner Dataquest. He began his career in semiconductor research and development, working for chip manufacturers AMD and Cirrus Logic from 1983 through 1989.
Krishna holds a MS in management from Stanford University, a MS in chemical engineering from the University of Southern California and a BS in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India. |
