Before joining Milliman, he worked for Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Company for almost seven years and for Ernst & Young Global Financial Services, Co., Ltd. for more than two years.While working for Asahi Mutual Life Insurance, he was primarily involved in work related to financial settlement, forecasted income statements, and developed actuarial accounting systems. After he moved to Asahi's research department, he conducted research on industry movements, government supervision, and regulations relating to accounting and taxation. He also participated in negotiations with government supervisory agencies and other life insurance companies.At Ernst & Young Global Financial Services, he was responsible for reviewing on policy reserves of life insurers (to support auditing or at the request of trustees of bankrupt companies), development of actuarial calculation models, demutualization, and review of risk management systems.He has expertise in accounting and government regulation of life insurance companies. He has vast knowledge of products and has extensive experience in developing actuarial models and providing consulting services to non-life insurers. |
