Kneeland Youngblood is a founding partner of Pharos Capital Group, a private-equity firm that focuses on providing growth and expansion capital to businesses in technology, business services and health-care services. Youngblood is chairman of the American Beacon Funds, a mutual fund company, managed by American Beacon Advisors, an investment affiliate of AMR Corp. He is also a director of Starwood Hotels and Lodging, Gap Inc. and the Burger King Corporation. He is a former director of the U.S. Enrichment Corporation, a global energy services company privatized in 1998. Youngblood served as a presidential appointee with Senate confirmation in his role on the board. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and graduated from Princeton University with an undergraduate degree and earned an M.D. degree from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School. |
